Lucas Zavala studies competition in global value chains: how we measure it, how it is shaped by policy, and how it shapes the lives of firms and individuals in emerging economies. He is an Economist in the аIJʿª½±¡¯s Department of Development Impact. Before joining DIME, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the International Economics Section at Princeton University from 2021-2022. He received his PhD in Economics from Yale University in 2021.
