This 60-minute virtual event showcased some of the key implementation highlights of the аIJʿª½±'s Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) achieved in the last four years. A special focus was placed on strengthening national environmental and social (E&S) management systems in various countries.
MATERIAL
The ESF was launched on October 1, 2018, and applies to all Investment Project Financing (IPF) from that date onwards. It enables the аIJʿª½± and Borrowers to better manage environmental and social risks in projects and to improve development outcomes in client countries.
